Project: Multi-dimensional population projections and management of wild bird populations

Island species are at a particular risk of extinction in the face of habitat loss and other anthropogenic threats. My research will focus on demographic analyses using long term Seychelles warblers’ datasets to inform and model future population trajectories. We will specifically address the use of translocations, genetic admixture and population structures to inform management strategies and implement conservation actions.
